Hi Timms, I didn't write back to confirm that this Sable #111 is an excellent concealed carry holster. I hike, hunt and target practice frequently, and haven't found any need to to trim or re-engineer this holster for my 5" 1911. It has excellent retention with quick release when drawing and is still the most comfortable of all my holsters for my 1911. Thank you for delivery of a very fine product.

A while back, I ordered one of your shado belt holsters for my ruger p89. I just wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with it. To buy a holster of this quality any where else would have cost me much more than I paid!! That holster will last longer than I will. I just wanted to provide some brief feedback on the Sable holster that you shipped to me earlier this week. First of all: Thank you for the fast delivery!

Watch out Don Hume and DeSantis, Shado's delivery times are by far one of the best experiences I made to date.

This also goes for fit and function of the holster as well as for the knowledge of their customer service: The gun I use is not listed on their website, yet I received a holster with a perfect fit.
The retention is excellent, yet the presentation is fast.
I used this holster to teach a defensive handgun class two days after receiving it. My co-instructor saw the holster and considers purchasing one for his range-firearms.

Hello Ray and Carol, I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with my new Shado holster, The fit and details are great.
If I had seen this holster prior to purchasing it I would have agreed to pay 3-4 times what it cost me.
I have worn a holster for 38 years and have never owned one that was any better or more comfortable right out of the box.

Many thanks for the fantastic speed in shipping my model 101 Bikini Shado holster. Ray told me on the phone that I would like the way it keeps the weapon close and he was right.
A number of years ago, I managed a small gun store after I retired from law enforcement. We sold the usual line of Bianchi and Safariland leather. This Shado holster meets or exceeds the quality of those two brands and for a much better price.

I received the two bikini holsters (101 & 102) I ordered in 4 days. They are superb. The 102 fits the Baretta 92FS perfectly and the 101 fits the Taurus 627 Tracker well after I softened up the muzzle end with gun oil. The quality and price can't be beat! My wife said this style is more functional than either solid black of brown because it can be carried for just about any occasion or dress. I just want to say how pleased I am with your service. I ordered a Shado Behind the Back holster for my CZ 75B last week and to my surprise three days later it arrived in the mail. I’m very pleased with the craftsmanship and the comfort level attained carrying a full sized Auto in this style of holster and the price at $40.00 was outstanding. In the past I’ve experienced problems finding a decent holster for the CZ at a reasonable price and to be honest, I was a bit hesitant ordering another holster sight unseen. I have been looking for a holster for my Smith+Wesson model 4006. I spoke to one of your customer service people on Thursday 29 October. Since I really wanted a Backdraw holster.
